MindOverFour The Demon Head song is available only on this split and is a nice retro occult, folk-doom song...which is what they do. the Alucarda song was a surprise: quite good punk-sludge, like MC5 meets Eyehategod. I actually like it better than the Demon Head track. Favorite track: Master Bizarre.

Regnārs Breikšs "Miles Ahead" brings to life an atmosphere that of an old José Ramón Larraz horror movie - think "Vampyres".

As for "Master Bizarre" - the arrangement and the sound is really cool. I personally would love vocals to be deeper in the mix and not so much in my face, but that is just my exclusive opinion.

Overall a really vivid and reminiscent split of the good ol' times. Favorite track: Miles Ahead.

paul rote I tried to only get the Demonhead track, it excellent. The other band is not my cup of tea. I wish both bands well ! Favorite track: Miles Ahead.
